Delivery Time

Inside Dhaka: All deliveries are handled by our trained in-house delivery team, ensuring safe and secure transportation of all products & also use trusted third-party courier services.

Outside Dhaka: Deliveries are completed through trusted third-party courier services based on location and service availability.

SocotraBD delivers products between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, depending on daily delivery schedules, routes, and workload.

We deliver across Bangladesh. Delivery times vary by location:

3-4 working days within Dhaka, 5-6 working days Chattogram metro areas, 6–7 working days for other districts.

The customer must receive the ordered products from the main gate of the building/premises.

Delivery Restrictions

For safety reasons, our delivery personnel may refuse to enter locations that are inaccessible, unsafe, or otherwise unsuitable for delivery vehicles or personnel.

Delivery may be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances categorized below:

Inside Dhaka (Our Own Delivery Team & trusted third-party courier services)

• Stock unavailability
• Weather disruptions (rain, storm, flood, etc.)
• Political unrest or movement restrictions
• Technical or operational issues
• Our delivery team may deliver until 9:00 PM for safe completion
• Customers will be notified of delays by our support team

Outside Dhaka (trusted third-party courier services)

• Stock unavailability
• Weather disruptions (rain, storm, flood, etc.)
• Political unrest or movement restrictions
• Courier company delays
• Technical or operational issues
• Delays in remote or rural areas due to limited vehicle access, rivers, or hilly terrain
• Poor road or broken road conditions may also cause extended delivery times.
• For deliveries outside Dhaka, customers are required to pay the delivery charge in advance before the order is shipped.

Customer Communication

Our delivery team will call prior to delivery to confirm availability, address, and delivery time.

Customers must ensure their phone remains reachable during the delivery window for smooth coordination.

Address & Contact Accuracy

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address along with an active contact number.

Any delay caused by an incorrect address, unreachable phone number, or customer unavailability will not be the responsibility of SocotraBD.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery location, product weight, and order value. Free delivery is available on qualifying orders.

The buyer must bear the full courier charges for the product.

In areas where an additional fee is required for delivery vans to enter, the customer will be responsible for covering that charge. For example, areas such as Baridhara DOHS, Mirpur DOHS, and similar locations may require a separate entry fee for delivery vans. Where applicable, this additional van entry fee will be added to the customer’s bill.

Others

Products will be delivered based on stock availability and operational capacity.

Upon delivery, please inspect the product packaging for any visible damage before signing the delivery receipt. Report any damage immediately to the delivery personnel.

Acceptance of Delivery

By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions stated in this Delivery Policy.
